Sunnycrest Baptist Church and Sunnycrest Media's IT department manage an aggregate of data traffic & logging, storage, analytics and other services provided on a continuous 24/7 basis.  Our network averages approximately 98.7% uptime (annually).  We currently manage a combined total storage capacity of roughly 16 TB of data including off-site data storage redundancy at a secondary location owned and managed by the church.
Sunnycrest has a total internet throughput of approximately 45Mbps on two separate connections to the internet which also provide wireless internet access throughout the campus on a guest network (at reduced bandwidth).  SBC CIT also provides internal support services to our users on a case-by-case basis.  Please contact the network administrator if you have further questions or have a support issue.

Wireless Internet Access

On-Campus Wireless access is free to all users. *

To connect, please open your device's wireless network connection configuration and join either the GuestAP1 or a GuestAP(x) numbered wireless network SSID.

A guest wireless coverage map is shown to the right.

Areas shown in green represent the strongest signal while the radiation dissipates to an orange and finally dark-red indicating weak/no signal zones.  Our wireless plant is ideally shielded for our situation, keeping most of the RF within the confines of the building.

* Please note, all network and internet access traffic on our guest network is logged - which includes sites and servers accessed with a date and time stamp as well as the user's IP address and NIC MAC address(es) used to access these resources.  All of this information is archived in encrypted storage and is not publicly accessible.  If you are not comfortable with these practices, please carefully examine why you need to use the network and what you're trying to access.  We also employ content filtering on all network traffic including our in-house, private network traffic.

SBC's CIT department has a zero-tolerance policy for malicious or abusive network activity.
